Scroll sideways. power-ups ## What's inside - private ### A stick figure, not a photograph By default the camera picture is never shown: the child sees only their own skeleton on a plain background. There is no photo output, no video writer and no photo library access in the app, and a test greps for all three. - fair ### Every body reads the same A pose is nine joint angles, normalized on the hips and the torso, so a small child close up and an adult across the room score alike. Mirrored always matches. - poses ### Twelve animal poses Tree, star, flamingo, cat, bear, frog, crab, aeroplane, mountain, snake, butterfly, turtle. A ring fills while the pose holds; three seconds scores it. - games ### Dance, freeze, obey, stretch Freeze dance over eight tracks, Simon says with bodies, and a guided five minute stretch that doubles as a bedtime wind down. - honest cards ### The card and the target cannot drift Each pose is one recipe that both draws the illustration and derives the angles it is scored against, so what a child copies is exactly what is being measured. - kind to the phone ### Light enough to run on a shelf Pose detection runs at 15 frames a second, dropping to 8 if the device gets warm, so a long session does not cook the phone. free vs unlocked ## Free to download. Stick figure is the default and the camera picture stays hidden; Show me is a deliberate choice in the setup screen before each game. **How much room does it need?** Enough to stand a couple of steps back from the device.
