That exchange, felt rather than explained, is the moment place value clicks. - hands ### Many fingers at once Four pieces dragged by four fingers, tracked separately. Saved mats are the user's own work: they open and work even when they hold a locked material. faq ## Questions about Bloques **Is this a maths curriculum?** No. It is the box of wooden materials from a good classroom, on glass, with activity cards that suggest things to do with them. There is no scoring and no report card. **Why iPad only?** On a phone you can hold three counters, not thirty six, and you cannot drag four pieces with four fingers. The table is the product. **Does snapping ever get in the way?** It can be turned off in the parent area, for the child who wants to count ten loose units rather than trade them. ## Bloques is almost here Finished, and being tested.
